Onboarding & ODD Senior Specialist (Poland/Remote)

We are looking for an Onboarding & ODD Senior Specialist to join our Complex KYB & Ecomm Team and take ownership of complex KYB, KYC, EDD, and e-commerce underwriting cases. You will make independent, risk-based decisions on complex customers and ownership structures, including high-risk jurisdictions and industries.

As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor other Specialists, contribute to improving our AML/KYC/KYB processes and risk appetite, and help identify emerging risks. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work confidently in ambiguous situations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years AML/KYC/KYB, with hands-on complex KYB, EDD and e-commerce underwriting.
• Multi-layer UBO, high-risk jurisdictions/industries, Source-of-Funds/Source-of-Wealth and adverse-media analysis.
• Fluent English.
• Comfort with ambiguity; analytical patience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and take decision for e-commerce underwriting for complex merchants: full business model analysis, financial records review, exposure calculation (rolling reserves, security deposits) and payment-method evaluation.
• Perform post-account-opening B2B/e-commerce data verification and ongoing customer checks.
• Perform and take decision for complex KYB onboarding cases including high-risk jurisdictions, complex legal forms and multi-layered UBO structures across all jurisdictions.
• Conduct and own EDD investigations for high-risk B2B and B2C clients; make documented risk-based decisions.
• Execute complex and EDD-triggered Periodic Reviews; take decision for these cases; prepare escalation documentation for MLRO where required.
• Provide continuous feedback on data, tools and assessments to support ongoing policy, product and procedure improvements.
• Support audit preparation and actively participate in internal and external audits.
• Identify and escalate suspicious onboarding patterns, emerging risk trends and cases requiring MLRO involvement.
• Maintain accurate and complete case records in line with documentation standards.
