We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Krakow, Rzeszow, or Remotely. As a team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the architecture of solutions and domains managed by your team. You will ensure the successful delivery of projects by effectively managing people, and promoting good programming practices, processes, and design patterns. You will work closely with the Product Owner and be responsible for the development and well-being of your team members, which includes developers, automated testers, and analysts.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a development team

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • 7+ years of experience with Java and Spring

  • Vast knowledge of OOP paradigms, design patterns, and other software development practices

  • Enthusiastic about learning and sharing knowledge about new technologies and the financial industry

  • Ability to find solutions and propose architecture using: DDD, EventSourcing, CQRS, Reactive Programming, micro frontends

  • Experience in taking part in the full development lifecycle, from design discussions and planning to implementation and production deployment

  • Knowledge of the following technologies: Java 17/21, Kotlin, Spring Framework, Microsoft Sql Server, Apache Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects through effective management of team members

  • Oversee the architecture of solutions and domains managed by your team,

  • Take ownership of microservices covering business domains in cooperation with the Product Team

  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment of project goals

  • Promote and enforce good programming practices, processes, and design patterns

  • Support the development and well-being of your team members
